George Pickens' name has come up in trade rumors, but even if the Cowboys did want to trade him, the 49ers seem like an unlikely destination.

Niner Noise argues that a blockbuster trade sending Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens to the San Francisco 49ers makes little sense for either franchise. Despite a 3-5 record, Dallas remains in playoff contention within a weak NFC East, giving team owner Jerry Jones little reason to sell a key offensive contributor ahead of the trade deadline.
Writer Nick San Miguel further notes that Dallas would be reluctant to aid an NFC rival's title pursuit. Additionally, the writer suggests San Francisco needs depth pieces, such as veteran Keenan Allen, rather than a high-profile acquisition alongside Deebo Samuel and Mike Evans.
