The Story in 60 Seconds

Writer Aiden Fermaner conducted a user-controlled NBA 2K27 simulation of the Milwaukee Bucks' 2026-27 season to explore a realistic rebuild scenario under head coach Taylor Jenkins. In the simulation, the Bucks navigated early-season struggles, traded AJ Green and Jericho Sims to Denver for Marvin Bagley III and Zeke Nnaji, and finished the regular season with a 26-56 record to place 13th in the Eastern Conference.

During the simulated offseason, Milwaukee traded center Myles Turner and the 45th pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for the 20th overall pick, drafting Babatunde Oladotun and later selecting Luigi Suigo. The Bucks retained their young core by re-signing Tyler Herro, Ryan Rollins, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. while parting ways with Kyle Kuzma.
