Portland Trail Blazers head coach Micah Nori is holding players to high standards despite his affable personality, Jason Quick of The Athletic reports. The Trail Blazers opened the season with a strong 6-1 record, highlighted by an undefeated 5-0 start on the road.
During a recent road victory in Phoenix, Nori called a timeout after forward Sidy Cissoko missed a defensive assignment. Forward Deni Avdija noted that Nori heavily emphasizes attention to small details to build a winning team culture.
