Tom Willander will not skate tonight and Leevi Meriläinen will start when the Canucks face the Winnipeg Jets later today.

Goaltender Leevi Meriläinen is projected to start and defenseman Tom Willander remains sidelined as the Vancouver Canucks visit the Winnipeg Jets on November 5, 2026. Vancouver enters the matchup at Canada Life Centre on a three-game losing streak and looking for their first victory against Winnipeg since March 18, 2025.
Willander misses his second straight contest due to a lower-body injury, keeping Luke Schenn also out of the lineup. As a result, Vancouver adjusts its defense pairings, slotting Zeev Buium with Guillaume Brisebois and Jamie Oleksiak alongside Victor Mancini.
