Gunners will be without the youngster against Hull this weekend…
An Independent Regulatory Commission rejected Arsenal's appeal against Max Dowman's red card, upholding his three-match domestic suspension. The 16-year-old was sent off for violent conduct after kicking out at Fleetwood Town midfielder Harrison Neal during Arsenal's Carabao Cup defeat.
According to the FA's written reasons, the majority of the commission determined Dowman forcefully attempted a retaliatory kick, leaving the referee no choice. The panel unanimously agreed the suspension was not clearly excessive and dismissed Dowman's age as a mitigating factor.
