Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has faced criticism from radio host Anthony Lima over his comments regarding his fit in the team's offense. Speaking on 92.3 The Fan, Lima questioned whether Sanders has what it takes to be an NFL starter after Sanders dismissed ongoing questions about fitting into Todd Monken's system deep into the season.
Sanders is preparing to start against the New Orleans Saints after Deshaun Watson entered concussion protocol following a 27-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite Lima's criticism regarding his pre-season performance, Monken backed Sanders' preparation, noting he has been diligent and asked great questions as he prepares to make his next start.
