Sunderland have confirmed a loan extension as a £33m midfield target emerges and Newcastle are linked with Noah Sadiki…

Sunderland defender Fin Holcroft has extended his loan at Spennymoor Town until January 2027 following an impressive opening month. Meanwhile, Sunderland are reportedly among several clubs monitoring Almería midfielder Stefan Dzodic, who holds a reported £33 million release clause. Additionally, reports claim Liverpool and Newcastle United are monitoring Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki, though no official talks have occurred.
Holcroft joined Peter Hartley's Spennymoor side in October and has already scored once in six appearances. In terms of transfer interest, reports indicate Sunderland would demand between £45 million and £50 million for Sadiki, who is under contract until June 2030, though any direct move to Newcastle remains practically impossible.
