New ‘Festive Four’ Christmas racing festival announced with ticket offers, ITV coverage and major race each day

A new "Festive Four" horse racing schedule has been announced, providing a headline feature contest on each day across the Christmas period. The four-day initiative is anchored by the Ladbrokes King George Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, followed by the Ladbrokes Kauto Star Novices' Chase on December 27. Chepstow hosts the Coral Welsh Grand National on December 28, and Newbury wraps up the festival on December 29 with the Coral Challow Hurdle.

All key races will be broadcast live on ITV for terrestrial viewers. Racegoers can buy a limited-offer "Festive Four Pass" for £64, giving access to all four race days until December 15. The initiative will also crown the top trainer and jockey across the four days, earning praise from trainer Dan Skelton and jockey Sean Bowen.
