Cole Palmer has been left out of the England squad again which has prompted questions over his relationship with Thomas Tuchel…

England manager Thomas Tuchel faced backlash from fans on social media after omitting fit Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer from his latest squad. Supporters questioned the decision after Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham received a surprise call-up ahead of Palmer for upcoming Nations League fixtures against Croatia and Spain.
Tuchel dismissed claims of personal animosity, explaining that Palmer missed past opportunities while players present in the previous camp retained their places through strong performances. He added that England under-21 manager Lee Carsley had consistently recommended Bellingham, who earned selection thanks to solid form with Dortmund.
