JR Motorsports plan to run five cars full-time in the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season, but the fifth car won't run the 2026 season finale.

The No. 9 JR Motorsports team will not compete in the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Despite running only 20 of 32 races this season, the car sits 17th in the owner standings following three victories and four additional top-five finishes.
The car's three wins came from Cup Series drivers Shane van Gisbergen and Ross Chastain, with Carson Kvapil, Lee Pulliam, and Jake Finch also making starts. JR Motorsports plans to run five full-time cars in 2027, with the No. 9 entry scheduled to return full-time starting at Daytona.
