The New York Rangers haven't made the cut on either of Dylan Larkin's trade wishlist, and new reporting indicates they may never be a landing spot for the disgruntled Detroit Red Wings center.

Blue Line Station argues that New York Rangers fans should give up hope on acquiring Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin via a trade. Although Larkin expanded his preferred trade list from three to 10 teams, the Rangers were left off, and the center is currently sitting out until a deal is reached.
According to insider Pierre LeBrun, Larkin and agent Pat Brisson recently rejected Detroit's request to negotiate with additional teams outside his list. Consequently, the writer advises general manager Chris Drury to pursue internal options or look toward other targets rather than expecting Larkin to approve a trade to New York.
