Portsmouth manager John Mousinho has confirmed the club will take a cautious approach to integrating Conor Shaughnessy and Josh Murphy back into the Championship lineup. Both players have returned to fitness following groin issues, with Murphy making brief appearances against Burnley and Swansea City, while Shaughnessy has returned to the bench.
Mousinho explained that Portsmouth no longer need to rush either player back into heavy minutes due to the strong form of other squad members. While Iyad Mohamed is expected to be fit for the upcoming clash with Stoke City, seven other players remain sidelined through injury.
