The revamped East has started slowly.

Aaron Kellerstrass of PistonPowered argues that the Eastern Conference has failed to live up to preseason hype early in the season. Despite summer expectations that the conference would significantly improve and outpace the Detroit Pistons, only four Eastern teams currently hold winning records, led by the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, and the 6-2 Pistons.
Kellerstrass highlights that seven Eastern teams hold losing records, compounded by injuries to stars like Tyrese Haliburton and Paolo Banchero. He compares this to the Western Conference, which features nine winning teams, concluding that the East remains noticeably weaker than anticipated.
