Ross Stewart has gone from semi-pro football to the Premier League, and from a job in Glasgow's land registry office to the World Cup.

Swansea City and Scotland striker Ross Stewart has targeted a return to the Premier League after joining the Championship club in August. The 30-year-old forward moved to Swansea after failing to agree on a new contract with Southampton, having previously played for Sunderland, Ross County, and St Mirren following an unconventional start in semi-professional football.
Stewart, who recently scored his first goal for Swansea against Blackburn Rovers, aims to secure promotion under head coach Vitor Matos. He also revealed ambitions to regain his international place with Scotland under manager Sebastien Pocognoli after representing his country at the 2026 World Cup.
