Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber has returned to practice with the team in moving closer to making his regular season debut that was delayed by a fractured skull.

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber returned to practice on Thursday after recovering from a fractured skull suffered during a preseason game on September 25. Head coach John Hynes announced that while Faber has been medically cleared, he will miss weekend home games to rebuild conditioning before joining the upcoming road trip starting Tuesday against Montreal.
Faber's impending return provides a boost for the Central Division-leading Wild, who have managed an 11-3-3 record despite extensive injuries. Captain Jared Spurgeon, forwards Marcus Foligno and Nick Foligno, and goaltender Filip Gustavsson are also scheduled to travel with the team on next week's road trip as they work back from their respective injuries.
