The Atlanta Braves bolstered their scouting department on Thursday with the return of Perry Minasian.

The Atlanta Braves announced that former Los Angeles Angels general manager Perry Minasian has rejoined the organization. Minasian will take on the role of senior advisor to amateur scouting, a position he will share with Dana Brown. Ronit Shah remains the head of Braves scouting, with both Minasian and Brown set to support the department.
Minasian previously worked in Atlanta for three seasons before departing ahead of 2021, holding titles including assistant general manager. He was dismissed by the Angels in June, having failed to record a winning season in Anaheim. Minasian also shares a long professional history with Braves executive Alex Anthopoulos, dating back to their tenure with the Toronto Blue Jays.
