Westley believes his battle for game time with fellow Dundee attackers will only benefit the Tayside club.
Dundee attacker Joe Westley has vowed to raise his performance level as competition for starting spots intensifies in the squad. The 22-year-old forward recently returned from a three-game absence caused by an ankle injury, coming on as a substitute during Dundee's 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock.
Ahead of Dundee's upcoming Tayside derby against St Johnstone, Westley praised the positive impact of attacking teammates Ashley Hay and Bradley Fink. He credited the manager for creating a competitive environment where hard work and high standards drive the fifth-placed Scottish Premiership club.
