Gunners star has now recovered from back injury but has yet to play this season…
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated the club has no issue with William Saliba being selected for the France national team by Zinedine Zidane. The center-back has yet to play this season following a back injury sustained during the World Cup in July, though he returned to Arsenal's matchday squad as an unused substitute against Slavia Prague on Wednesday.
Arteta confirmed Arsenal's medical staff has maintained close contact with France ahead of upcoming Nations League matches against Italy and Turkey. He noted that playing minutes with the national team could positively aid Saliba's fitness recovery.
