Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey is an elite protector, but his issues with errant snaps seem unfixable at this point in his career.

KC Kingdom's Ernesto Cova argues that the Kansas City Chiefs and their fans may simply have to accept center Creed Humphrey's recurring issues with erratic snaps. Despite being an elite pass and run blocker, the six-year veteran has consistently delivered low and high snaps to quarterback Patrick Mahomes throughout the team's 5-2 start to the season.
Humphrey acknowledged the issue, stating he needs to fix his snapping immediately because it affects the offense. Despite the snapping concerns, Cova notes that Humphrey remains dominant in pass protection, having allowed zero sacks and just three pressures through seven games according to PFF.
