An MRI confirmed significant damage to the 17-year-old winger's anterior talofibular ligament while playing on loan for Iberia 1999, ruling him out for the remainder of 2026.

Arsenal secured a pre-contract agreement for Bartishvili from Kolkheti 1913 for just under £4 million on a five-year permanent deal. Under FIFA regulations regarding youth transfers, the Georgian teenager will officially complete his move to north London next summer after turning 18 in March 2027.
