Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has dismissed Phoenix Suns guard Dillon Brooks' claim that he attempted to de-escalate their recent on-court skirmish. Speaking on his podcast, Green disputed Brooks' explanation, asserting that Brooks confronted him physically with his chest and shoulder rather than trying to calm the altercation down.
The incident took place during the third quarter of the Warriors' 116-113 victory over Phoenix, after Green fouled Suns center Khaman Maluach. Green was ejected following technical fouls assessed to both players, with Golden State subsequently rallying for the win behind extra motivation.
