Isaiah Stewart says he has no regrets about trying to confront LeBron James in November 2021, despite acknowledging that he has learned lessons from past incidents.

Memphis Grizzlies center Isaiah Stewart stated that he has no regrets regarding his November 2021 altercation with LeBron James or his subsequent clash with the Charlotte Hornets. Speaking to Marc J. Spears, Stewart affirmed his commitment to his physical approach to basketball, stating that he does not care how others perceive him despite noting that valuable lessons come from every situation.
While Stewart admitted he occasionally reflected negatively on his reactions, he criticized opponents who deliberately try to provoke him into ejections. Following a trade from the Detroit Pistons to Memphis in June, the 25-year-old has avoided ejections through his first seven games with the Grizzlies, averaging 11.9 points per game.
