Fin Smith will steer England through their crucial autumn opener against Australia on Sunday after completing his recovery from a calf problem.

Fin Smith has recovered from a calf injury and will start at fly-half for England in their autumn opener against Australia on Sunday at Allianz Stadium. Head coach Steve Borthwick made four changes to the side that beat Argentina in July, also recalling full-back George Furbank and flanker Ben Curry to the starting XV, while uncapped Greg Fisilau and Henry Pollock were named among the replacements.
Australia head coach Les Kiss welcomed back centre Len Ikitau from concussion, shifting Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii to the wing. England enter the clash seeking positive results after a difficult Six Nations earlier this year, though Borthwick has reportedly signed a contract extension through 2028.
