Cole Palmer was again excluded from Thomas Tuchel's England squad, Morgan Rogers Chelsea's sole representative, but is this good news for the Blues?

England manager Thomas Tuchel has left Chelsea's Cole Palmer out of his latest national squad for upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain. Despite Chelsea medical staff confirming Palmer is fully fit, Tuchel stated that the team has enough attacking midfielders and opted to stick with players from the previous camp. Palmer has featured in only three matches for England under Tuchel after previously withdrawing for load management.
The Pride of London argues that the omission provides a silver lining for Chelsea, as Palmer will receive two weeks of rest ahead of their match against Leeds United. Writer Ben Gray notes this time off will help the 24-year-old avoid injury while twelve of Xabi Alonso's other players travel for international duty.
