Leicester City will be aiming to avoid an almighty FA Cup upset on Friday evening as they travel to sixth-tier Oxford City and a number of key men are already ruled out for the League One side…

Leicester City manager Russell Martin hinted that several players could miss Friday's FA Cup first-round match against Oxford City due to the host's artificial pitch. Jakub Stolarczyk and Ben Nelson remain out long term, while Jayden Joseph is still working toward a return. Martin noted that one or two additional players may be held out to avoid injury risks on the synthetic surface.
Despite potential modifications, Martin ruled out widespread rotation for the matchup against the National League North side. Oxford City manager Ross Jenkins confirmed winger Ewan Clark is his team's sole absentee ahead of the home fixture.
