Como president Mirwan Suwarso says the club want to play like Barcelona while recruiting like Brighton and Brentford, as their rise continues on two fronts.

Como president Mirwan Suwarso stated the club aims to emulate Barcelona's playing style while adopting the recruitment models of Brentford and Brighton. Speaking in an interview with TNT Sports, Suwarso explained that Como is focused on high-pressing, possession-based football while targeting undervalued players. The comments follow Como's record-breaking 9-1 victory over Lens in the Champions League.
Managed by Cesc Fabregas, Como sits fourth in Serie A with 23 points after rising from Serie D under the ownership of the Hartono brothers. Suwarso also highlighted the cyclical nature of leagues, expressing confidence that Serie A can close the gap on the Premier League, and revealed the club currently works with 27 other clubs to export operational services.
