Rabby Nzingoula has had to bide his time to break into the side at West Brom this season, but he is starting to make his mark…

Writer Charlie Hodgson argues that 20-year-old midfielder Rabby Nzingoula is establishing himself as a key figure and a smart summer investment for West Bromwich Albion under manager James Morrison. After arriving from Strasbourg for a reported £2m fee following a loan spell at Nurnberg, Nzingoula has become a regular fixture in Morrison's midfield during the club's ongoing five-game unbeaten Championship run.
Hodgson highlights that Nzingoula has adapted quickly, making 14 appearances and seven starts across 710 minutes of action. While noting that the midfielder is yet to record a goal or an assist and has received three yellow cards, Hodgson concludes that Nzingoula's versatility, progressive passing, and defensive qualities show signs of him developing into a complete midfielder.
