It's starting to feel like the Sabres need to shake up their offense, which could mean at least one high-profile departure from Buffalo's NHL roster.

Daily Faceoff's Mike Gould identified Buffalo Sabres center Josh Norris as an appealing buy-low trade piece for rebuilding NHL teams. Sabre Noise reports that Buffalo may consider reshaping its forward group due to a lack of secondary scoring, with general manager Jarmo Kekalainen potentially seeking a top-line center ahead of the trade deadline.
Norris has tallied just three points through his first 15 games of the 2026-27 season despite remaining healthy. Tim Daniels notes that Buffalo's offensive struggles extend across the roster, with Ryan McLeod, Josh Doan, and Jason Zucker also managing minimal production amid the team's sluggish start.
