The Panthers know there's some uncertainty about what their defense is going to look like this weekend. Plus more on a potential replacement heading into Sunday's game against the Broncos.
The Carolina Panthers enter their Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos carrying an element of mystery on defense. Head coach Dave Canales noted that after the firing of defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, interim defensive coordinator Todd Wash brings an unknown scheme factor that Denver must prepare against without recent film.
Carolina may also adjust personnel at linebacker, where Tyrel Dodson could step into a starting role if Bobby Okereke cannot play due to a foot injury. Additionally, Canales praised tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders for his scout team contributions while waiting behind veteran Darren Waller.
