Jim Goodwin says Dundee Utd are eager to keep momentum going against Motherwell

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin says his squad is eager to maintain their momentum against Motherwell at Tannadice on Saturday. United enter the match on a six-game unbeaten run following a 2-2 draw with Celtic at Parkhead, though their previous weekend match against Hearts was postponed because of the Jambos' Premier Sports Cup semi-final.

Goodwin highlighted a productive week of training, noting his players are fresh and motivated despite the unwanted break. Their last defeat was a 3-0 loss to Motherwell in September after Emmanuel Agyei was sent off inside 14 minutes, but Goodwin expects an entertaining contest if United can keep eleven men on the pitch.
