Gary O'Neil believes Ipswich Town have the potential to replicate Bournemouth's rise and become an established Premier League club competing in Europe.
Ipswich Town manager Gary O'Neil has discussed facing his former side AFC Bournemouth, stating that Ipswich can take inspiration from the Cherries' steady rise to becoming an established Premier League and European contender. Bournemouth will travel to Portman Road on Sunday on the back of a seven-game winning streak across all competitions under manager Marco Rose.
O'Neil managed Bournemouth during the 2022 season, helping them secure a 15th-place finish after promotion. Despite Bournemouth scoring 19 goals and conceding just one across their recent winning run, O'Neil expressed confidence that Ipswich can hurt the visitors and claim three points at home.
