Swifties fans mock Tyler Kolek following ‘fakest’ Knicks fan insult

Taylor Swift fans mocked New York Knicks guard Tyler Kolek after he labeled the pop star a "performative" fan. During an NBA 2K TikTok livestream, Kolek suggested Swift might be the "fakest" celebrity Knicks fan, claiming she attends games merely to be seen rather than being a true supporter. In response, Swift's followers took to social media to mock Kolek's limited playing time during the Knicks' championship run.

Fans pointed out that Kolek did not play any minutes during the five NBA Finals games against the San Antonio Spurs. In response to the controversy, a Knicks spokesperson defended Swift, stating that she has supported the team for years and the organization is appreciative of her backing.
