Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. has emerged in trade rumors following the team's slow start to the 2026-27 season, according to NBA insider Brett Siegel. Multiple teams are monitoring the 27-year-old's availability ahead of the trade deadline, with the Golden State Warriors highlighted as a primary potential suitor if Orlando opts to become a seller.
Siegel reports that the Warriors view Carter as an ideal fit and are open to taking on his contract, which runs through 2028-29, in a potential trade involving Kristaps Porzingis. Golden State is reportedly willing to offer draft compensation while prioritizing deals focused around Porzingis' $20 million salary spot.
