Defenseman was sent to AHL's Springfield, will join team in Nashville, remains on IR recovering from broken right hand…

The St. Louis Blues have recalled defenseman Logan Mailloux from his conditioning assignment with the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds. The 23-year-old blueliner has joined the team in Nashville ahead of their road trip finale against the Nashville Predators on Saturday, though he remains on injured reserve while recovering from hand surgery.
Mailloux underwent surgery on a broken right hand on September 28 following an injury sustained in the preseason. Head coach Jim Montgomery noted there is a slight possibility Mailloux could play against Nashville, with a return against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday seen as more realistic.
