The Knicks received concerning injury news on a key starter ahead of their Cavaliers showdown, forcing Mike Brown to adjust his lineup.

The New York Knicks have ruled out starter Josh Hart for Saturday's road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to right ankle soreness. Hart's injury surfaced after Monday's win over the Brooklyn Nets, causing him to also sit out Wednesday's 135-105 victory over the Chicago Bulls. The Knicks have not yet established a timetable for the veteran guard's return as they manage his recovery.
With Hart sidelined, head coach Mike Brown may again turn to Landry Shamet in the starting lineup alongside Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns. New York currently holds a 4-4 record after recovering from an 0-3 start, but faces a tough test against Cleveland's backcourt of Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.
