The Buffalo Sabres signed Louis Crevier to a four-year, $16 million contract extension before he played in a single game for the Sabres. Now, he’s missing from action, and not due to injury. The Sabres are set to make Crevier…

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Louis Crevier was made a healthy scratch alongside forward Ryan McLeod for Friday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The decision comes after the Sabres signed Crevier to a four-year, $16 million contract extension prior to him playing a single regular-season game for the franchise.
Billy Heyen writes that Crevier has endured a brutal start to his tenure in Buffalo, recording just one assist and a minus-4 rating across 15 games. Crevier was removed from the lineup to accommodate the return of defenseman Conor Timmons from injury.
