Jamie Redknapp believes Coventry can feel hard done by after two appeals were waved away following VAR checks, with former Sky Blues striker Callum Wilson agreeing they could have made the difference.

Pundit Jamie Redknapp strongly criticized VAR after Coventry had two penalty appeals rejected during their defeat against Everton. Coventry manager Frank Lampard also expressed frustration following several controversial refereeing decisions, including a Vitalii Mykolenko foul that VAR determined occurred outside the penalty area.
Everton completed a dramatic comeback victory sparked by a rapid four-minute brace from Barry and a third goal by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Gboho had initially opened the scoring for Coventry before Everton rallied to secure the win.
