Coventry boss Frank Lampard says VAR 'didn't do its job' in his side's defeat to Everton as three reviews controversially went against his side.

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard stated that VAR failed to do its job following three controversial decisions in his side's 3-1 Premier League defeat to Everton. The Sky Blues had two penalty appeals turned down and questioned a potential handball during Thierno Barry's second goal for Everton. Referee Stuart Attwell and VAR officials Timothy Wood and Gary Beswick allowed all on-field calls to stand.
The contentious moments included James Tarkowski pulling Caleb Yirenkyi's hair and Vitalii Mykolenko clipping Taiwo Awoniyi on the edge of the penalty area. Everton manager David Moyes acknowledged that contentious decisions fluctuate, while Barry scored twice to help secure victory for Everton after Coventry had opened the scoring.
