Jamayne Isaako’s future at Melbourne begins to take shape in Kiwis camp…

New Zealand winger Jamayne Isaako is using the Kiwis' Rugby League World Cup campaign to build chemistry with Melbourne Storm halfback Jahrome Hughes ahead of his move to the club in 2027. Speaking to Zero Tackle, Isaako shared that the future teammates are currently rooming together at the tournament following the departure of Kalyn Ponga from camp.
Isaako revealed he has been picking Hughes' brain about pre-season expectations and the demanding standards at Melbourne. The winger believes developing an on-field and off-field combination during international duty provides a strong head start before officially joining the Storm.
