Gold (Glove) carpet rolls out for Mattingly, Turang, Winfield at MLB NYC flagship store

Rawlings hosted a Gold Glove-themed meet-and-greet event at the MLB Flagship Store in New York City on Thursday. The event featured World Series champion Brice Turang, Phillies manager Don Mattingly, Hall of Famer Dave Winfield, and surprise guest Steve Garvey, representing 22 total Gold Gloves. The players met with fans, signed autographs, and walked a gold-colored carpet ahead of Friday's Rawlings Gold Glove banquet at The Plaza Hotel.

For Turang, the appearance followed a victory tour that included an appearance on Saturday Night Live alongside manager Pat Murphy and teammate Christian Yelich. Mattingly and Turang shared insights on infield defense, emphasizing the intense focus and anticipation required to excel. Turang, a two-time Gold Glove winner, is also a finalist for the National League MVP Award.
