For everything that has gone wrong to start, at least the Utah Jazz are seeing progress from Darryn Peterson! Better late than never! Especially if this is just the start from him!

Rookie Darryn Peterson had a breakout performance for the Utah Jazz despite the team suffering their seventh consecutive defeat in a loss against Dallas. Peterson recorded 21 points, five assists, three blocks, and two steals while shooting 6-for-12 from the field, including three three-pointers, in what was his best game for the franchise.
The J-Notes argues that Peterson's strong individual display against Kyrie Irving offers a reason for optimism during Utah's ongoing losing streak. However, the writer notes that Utah's other core players need to step up alongside the rookie to help end the team's slide.
