The Toronto Raptors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 121-107 in their opening NBA Cup game on Friday. Alijah Martin paced the Raptors with a career-high 27 points while shooting 6-for-7 from three-point range. Despite early control from Milwaukee, Toronto's physical defense locked down the game in the fourth quarter to secure the victory over the home team.
For the Bucks, Brayden Burries recorded a breakout performance, tallying a career-high 21 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists. Milwaukee led 60-51 at halftime but managed just 17 points in the final frame prior to an AJ Green buzzer-beater as their offense stalled late.
