Luka Dončić’s hot start to the season received an early MVP endorsement from an opposing coach.

Trail Blazers coach Micah Nori endorsed Lakers superstar Luka Dončić as the early NBA MVP ahead of their Friday matchup at Crypto.com Arena. Nori agreed with NBA.com's initial MVP ladder ranking that placed Dončić at the top, stating the Slovenian star is in the best shape of his career.
Dončić entered Friday averaging 38.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, eight assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Nori noted that Dončić's conditioning, surrounding shooters, and rolling big man create an ideal offensive environment, making him virtually impossible to wear down over the course of a game.
