Former Indianapolis Colts All-Pro offensive guard Quenton Nelson will undergo minor knee cartilage cleanup surgery and is expected to miss at least a few weeks. Nelson, who was recently traded to the Seattle Seahawks, will not be placed on injured reserve immediately. Seattle hopes the offensive lineman can return in three weeks following their upcoming games and bye week.
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald stated Nelson originally sustained the injury with Indianapolis in Week 7 before aggravating it during a 34-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. Nelson joined Seattle in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round draft selection.
