Reeves is one of five former head coaches who are in consideration for induction as part of the 2027 class.

Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Reeves has been named one of five coach finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2027. Reeves, who passed away in 2022, is on the final shortlist alongside Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, Mike Holmgren, and Mike Shanahan. The Coach Subcommittee will meet virtually on November 17 to select one single candidate to present to the full Selection Committee.
Reeves compiled 201 career wins as an NFL head coach, notably guiding Atlanta to its first Super Bowl appearance during the 1998 season. His extensive football legacy also includes three AFC championships with the Denver Broncos and a Super Bowl victory as a player with the Dallas Cowboys.
