Edmonton Oilers Emerge as Potential Trade Suitor for Canadiens Big Forward

The Edmonton Oilers have reportedly emerged as a potential trade suitor for Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach. According to The Fourth Period's latest Trade Watch List, the Oilers and Calgary Flames are among the teams linked to Dach, who could become a cap casualty this season. The forward is a pending unrestricted free agent as Montreal evaluates his long-term role.

Dach has recorded one goal and five points through 14 games this season, with four points coming in his last five appearances. Edmonton currently leads the Pacific Division with an 11-3-3 record, and writer Michael DeRosa notes that Dach could provide bottom-six forward depth alongside his brother, Colton Dach, who already plays for the Oilers.
