MLB announces Platinum Glove, Team Gold Glove, Heart & Hustle Award winners

Major League Baseball announced the latest winners for the Platinum Glove, Team Gold Glove, and Heart & Hustle awards. Cody Bellinger of the New York Yankees won the American League Platinum Glove, while Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs claimed the National League honor. The Team Gold Glove Awards were presented to the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL and the Chicago Cubs in the NL, marking the Cubs' second consecutive team honor.

Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. won the Heart & Hustle Award for the third straight year, becoming the first player to win the honor three times. Brew Crew Ball writer Harrison Freuck argued that fan voting in the Platinum Glove process is flawed, asserting that Bellinger was far less deserving of the AL award than candidates like Taylor Walls, Wilyer Abreu, and Ceddanne Rafaela.
