The San Francisco 49ers will be without their top wide receivers for Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, and Christian Kirk have all been officially ruled out coming off the team's bye week. As a result, head coach Kyle Shanahan will rely on depth receivers including Demarcus Robinson, Jordan Watkins, Brandin Cooks, Jacob Cowing, and KhaDarel Hodge.
Kirk is being evaluated for potential knee surgery after hurting his meniscus, having yet to debut this season. Meanwhile, Samuel continues to recover from an October 11 hamstring injury, and Evans is sidelined with Achilles tendinitis suffered on October 19. General manager John Lynch expressed caution regarding Evans' condition, noting the team wants to prevent the tendinitis from lingering.
