Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie has reversed an early-season goal-scoring slump by scoring three goals in his last three games, including a win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. After managing just one goal in his first 14 games of the 2026-27 season, Geekie now has four goals and 13 points through 17 contests.
Despite the early lack of goals, Todd Matthews notes that Geekie remained productive as a playmaker, recording eight assists during his first 14 games. Matthews also highlights that Geekie endured similar scoring droughts during his 39-goal campaign in 2025-26, including a 17-game scoreless stretch.
