Kenny Atkinson credited Cleveland’s defensive performance after the Cavaliers beat Philadelphia 119-95 on Friday, highlighting Peyton Watson’s work against Tyrese Maxey.

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson singled out Peyton Watson for changing the game during Friday's 119-95 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Returning from a two-game absence due to right hamstring tightness, Watson earned strong praise from Atkinson for his excellent defensive performance against Tyrese Maxey as Cleveland effectively defended the rim and Joel Embiid.
Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 23 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists, while Evan Mobley added 22 points while defending Embiid in the absence of injured Jarrett Allen. Mario Hezonja also contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds off the bench as Cleveland improved their season record to 5-4.
